I'm currently getting all the Soundsci Remixes together and uploaded so hold tight, had a great response with entries from all over the world, many thanks to everyone who has taken part.

Sam Redmore's FREESTYLE night has just gone weekly and he's got me playing tomorrow night. FREE before 10pm and £2 after, if you need more info click here I'll be playing a selection of hip-hop, funk, reggae, soul and anything else that takes my fancy

Yeeeeah Breakestra make their long overdue Birmingham debut at The Hare and Hounds, if you've not seen them before your in for a treat...if you have seen them before you've already bought your ticket! I'll have a dig through my vaults for my interview with them when they played at the Warwick Arts Centre a few years back (damn just checked and it was just over 5 years ago!) Also got two of their live sets from their previous tour back in my Breakin' Point days (shouts to Chris) but need to dig them out and undecided if I should share them or not, enough requests and I will. Still mad tired after Louis Den last night, sorry to all the people who couldn't get in...that'll teach you going out so late on a Thursday, anyways a dope night was had by all who managed to get in, shouts to the producers who killed it, DJ IQ, Ranx, Myke Forte and Sivey, and the PA's from Ramson Badbones, Asaviour and Gen and MSI & Asylum and finally Kosyne and Redbeard holding down the hosting. Wish I'd taken pictures now as it was so rammed but busy djing / filming!

The new shining star in the Birmingham leftfield DJ community is Mr Redmore. He finds himself down the Hare and Hounds, armed and ready to rock FUNKBOX, which we are thoroughly excited about. Sam has gone from strength to strength since starting to play in Birmingham, he now has various residencies including the legendary Leftfoot and his own shindig, Freestyle. Come and check out his funky re-edits, mash ups and fine mixing skills on a journey through his funky junk.
