Thanks to everyone who came out to DJ Format play for Funkbox @ The Hare and Hounds, the event was a sell out with people being turned away as soon as the doors opened!

Thanks to
Specky for playing on Friday, much fun was had by all with a rammed dancefloor by 9pm!!!

I've got a pair of tickets to see The Roots Live in Nottingham @ Rock City, Monday 1st Dec (yeah Tom thats Nottingham, not Birmingham!) if you want the pair of tickets please email me with the name of any past member of the group (not current ones) to djcrobirmingham at gmail dot com and the tickets are yours! Easy as that!!! Any more info needed can be found here. A show not to miss though as they've said they are retiring from touring for the next few years, you've been warned!

Public Enemy play Wednesday 3rd December @ Space 2, Custard Factory with support from Serocee and myself, TLG (who's new album I've had the pleasure of hearing and it's SICK!), Mr FX, Barrowclough and the Heducation residents. More info can be found here

Serocee's Single Launch
(2nd release on Crate Escape woooooooooo) Saturday 6th December @ The Hare and Hounds, more info on this after the PE gig but heres the video to whet your appetite for the limited dinked 7" that might be available a little early here!

Pharoahe Monch's excellent Welcome To The Terrordome remake gets the video treatment (A little late maybe as the album came out in 06 and they haven't done any more singles, it's still one of the best albums of recent years so if you didn't check it, do!) seems the right time to post it with them playing live next week, if I get chance I'll ask Chuck about the Shut Em Down remake too
