Main Ingredient 19-10-09 w/ Rhyme Traveller & Peaks

Rhyme Traveller

Massive thanks to Rhyme Traveller and Peaks for last nights show, technical difficulties meant one of the mics kept cutting out and it had to be recorded at mine so felt abit like my old pirate days (big shout to Robin for the equipment usage as we couldn't have done the show without him!) A few tracks need adding to the play list, I'll fill in the blanks once I've had a chance to listen back to the show, RT also vocal-ed the only unrecorded Solid N Mind track 20 years after the beat was made so make sure you listen all the way to the end. As usual not enough time so hopefully get him back on the show soon.

Happy listening

MI Radio w/ Peaks & Vice Live 07-09-2009

More technical issues at the studio meant that the show had to be recorded as 2 separate files (like I used to do) the advantage of this is that the music is in better quality (192) but the disadvantage is you need to download 2 files so please let me know which you prefer in the rarely used comment box below. Also got the audio back for last weeks show so uploading that now

The Unseen Tonight w/ Juice Aleem, What Supreme and Quartz

All the performers at The Unseen have been regulars on my radio show over the years so obviously I'm biased, should be an amazing night with Juice Aleem headlining and shooting a video for his forthcoming album, "Jerusalaam Come" with DJ Moyma and Mad Flow. Unseen organiser What Supreme will be performing and Quartz Crystallus (part of C.O.L.D. who were on earlier this year). Peaks and Tru Blu on the wheels, hosted by Joel the Custodian it should be a great night 8pm - 12pm @ The Bulls Head, Moseley. This Thursday 4th June, see you there...

Sort of Best of '08 Show w/ DJ Peaks

For the first part of the Best Of 08 Show, Peaks and myself approached it a little differently, I went for records that were released last year regardless of when they were made and Peaks went for records he bought last year (with the exception of the Pitman track which is an exclusive and set the show off nicely...and offended a few of the radio station people hahaha and the Ghostface and Dilla track Stones Throw only released as a download)

Please note EVERYTHING is available on VINYL (it does still exist) and those CD thingamys so go support that good ish and happy listening. Next Mondays show I've got an exclusive guest mix from Capitol 1212 and will be rounding off my favourites for '08 (plenty more to come).

Had great fun at Heducation on Saturday too, my first all Hip-hop set out for the year and it felt good, great seeing Adios too as he made the trip over from Barcelona for the gig, props!
