Main Ingredient Radio 23-06-08 w/ Pritt Kalsi

No official playlist but I seem to remember Lord Finesse, MC Shan, Freestyle Professors, L-Swift & A Butta, Demon Boyz, MC Mello, Ed209 and plenty of breaks for good measure. If you really want a playlist ask and I'll try to work it out. Pritt was talking about his new film King Of The Beats and his website Nu-Skratch.
Both have plenty of great footage to have a look at and you can contact him at his myspace here or at the King Of The Beats myspace.
MC's For Life is this weekend. I'm DJing with Serocee at the Saturday evening event alongside Lord Finesse, Black Thought, Millon Dan, Stig and Dr Syntax, DJ Spooky etc, tickets are still available here. Workshops, discussions and seminars in the day too. On Sunday they are doing it all over again in Manchester so try and make it to one of them.
The same night I'm also Djing with Kosyne at Rooty Fruity's for Phuture Movements and we can play whatever we like so expect the unexpected and things to be a little bit more eclectic! More info can be found here
Some video's for you viewing pleasure....
Lord Finesse & Percee P Rematch (SBX!)
Lord Finesse Return Of The Funky Man
The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest and Consequence Fresstyling

I'm still after the promo 12" to this if anyone can help????????
Have a great week

FREE ATMOSPHERE, BROTHER ALI & KIDZ IN THE HALL TICKETS
Atmosphere are playing the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on Monday 7-11pm with Brother Ali and Kidz In The Hall, I've got a pair of tickets to give away so be quick and drop me an email (see my profile box to the right) if you'd like to go, I was going to set a question but in this google age theres not much point so just tell me in 100 words or less why Kidz In the Hall should never have revisited Souls Of Mischiefs classic" 93 Til Infinity" ;) I've only seen Atmosphere once years ago at Deadbeat and they smacked it (Slug had Dibbs with him, not Ant) so don't miss this chance to see him live (and then download my radio show cause you'll miss that if you go!) More gig info HERE!
Have a great weekend

Hey Presto! Shepdog, King Of The Beats 2 and more...
Friday is Funkbox time again, this month we've invited up Shepdog from Nice Up! Records along with the residents, hope to see some of you out and about.
This Sunday sees the Premier of Pritt's King Of The Beats 2 film in Leicester, if you haven't seen the first one, it put some of the UK's finest beat makers up against each other with a budget of £20 each and featured The P Brothers, Beyond There, The Unsung Heroes, The Nextmen and The Creators. Not sure who's featured in this one but it's going to be AMAZING. See below for the info...
Speaking of the P Brothers, they very kindly (or annoyingly depending on how you look at it) sent me a teaser for their new album "The Gas" which will be released in August, have a listen for yourself

New video for the Presto Conquer Mentally track I've been playing on the show, it's out on wax now too which is great news so like Redman pick it up pick it up...
Keeping it Large Professor related heres the video to Fakin The Funk, still one of my favourite 12"s
