"Digital Is Dangerous" launches this Thursday night at Jibbering Records, click the link for more information, the protest on Saturday was very funny with alot of confused onlookers!

Foundation Collective have kindly invited me to play this Friday, I'll be playing a much more Hip-hop orientated set so I'm looking forward to that along with residents Paul Hobbs, Chris Hardway and Mykal. Did I mention it's free in?

Saturday see's Jibbering Live welcoming Jstar (not Jehst before anyone asks!) for his Birmingham debut with his emcee Honey Brown (not to be confused with Husky) and the Dhol Blasters (not to be confused with the Blastmaster KRS-One) will be playing with Birmingham Funk favourites Munchbreak, DJ Rubbish (who's "Who Is DJ Rubbish" DVD is very entertaining), Jam Jah Sound and Jibbering residents

Have a great week, please leave any feedback, requests etc in the comments section or email me

Some Video's Worth a Gander

Ahead of Mondays radio show and a busy week of gigs, I thought I'd post some more dope videos

First up OC and AG, produced by Show(biz) and cuts by Premo...

Keeping it Premo related the new Year Round Promo vid (thanks RD)

A newish video for a track that NEEDS to be released officially on VINYL damn it! Az feat Styles P or Styles P feat AZ depending on who's mix cd you buy! Both produced by the Large professor though ;) anyways the beat BANGS!

One of my favourite mid 90's tracks I didn't have the pleasure of seeing the video for at the time, make sure you grab the 12" for it as you get an even better mix with Lord Finesse

Enjoy your weekend

Understanding Club Sandwiches to get some Dap

As it was another week off from the radio thought I'd post up some video's for your viewing pleasure, you know to watch while you're supposed to be doing work, you'll also notice I'm on some next level ish, posting both youtube vids AND myspaz ones, don't ask me how I do it, I'm just gangsta like that. First up is some GTA out takes...

Although Chima no longer gets "Mad Hoes", you can probably catch him in a hospital near you, understand?

Next up is the Louis Den Beat Battle 21 - Club Sandwich, please note I've stolen the following text "A very special ldbb filmed in a secret location with crazy ldbb fam appearences!!; what started off a little trip to see Prolifik (ab0181) turned into a crazy meet up where we decided to host a Louis Den as there were so many heads there. In the 'Secret Location' were Kosyne, Kelakovski, Prolifik, Jaisu, S-Type, Sivey, DJ Cro, Budgie and Leatherface; check the outro to see what the little meet up was all about."

and finally a lil teaser for all you beat heads out there...

Oh and I'm playing at the Bulls Head this Thursday for the Jibbering Sessions, probably to a load of unappreciative drunks and then supporting Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings on Sunday at the Yardbird with the rest of the Funkbox massive. Have a gander at the links to the right too, I've added some new ones, all good clean family fun and essential reading

MI 31-03-08 w/ Foundation Collective, Gigs, FREE Roots Manuva Tickets and Mo...

Tonight see's Replife from Oakland perform at the Yardbird for Foundation Collective who guested on Mondays radio show, unfortunately gremlins in the system means theres no playlist but I can tell you the Foundation boys dug out some classic mid 90's joints while I played mainly new stuff, happy listening, I'll try and type up the tracklist if I get the chance.

Main Ingredient Radio Show 31-03-08
http://www.sendspace.com/file/6ht94k

Kurious Demo's have started to make there way out to the public, props to Werner Von Wallenrod for the first review, peep it here and read plenty of other great interviews and write ups. Not many copies of the vinyl left so be quick!

Shouts to S-Type, Kosyne, Kela, Prolifik, Budgie, Le
atherface, Sivey and Jaisu, peep the video for the science... I'll get the new Louis Den ish up as soon as I can too.

Unfortunately KL fromthe group Screwball passed away last week due to an asthma attack, condolencies to his family and friends, head over to Unkut for some great tunes and some history.

I've got a pair of tickets (FREE TICKETS!!!!)to give away to see Roots Manuva and MK at Koko next Saturday (thats the 12th Mo fugga's) with the Shape of Broad Minds in support (Don't know if it'll just be Jneiro but we'll see) all you gotta do is email me, first to do so gets the tickets. I was going to set a hard question like what record is Roots Manuva's first vocal apperance but I'm not sure anyone actually cares so just email me!

The Apples destroyed the Yardbird on Tuesday night and their new album is blinding, we've got copies exclusively at Jibbering if your quick (it's not out officially till May!!!) it's only on CD as they're still waiting on the wax, still a worthy purchase.

Tomorrow is the Jibbering Session at the Hare and Hounds, info on the flyer above.
Can't forget to mention that Funkbox are supporting Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings next Sunday at the Yardbird, hope you've got tickets already as it's sold out.

Kam's also started a dope little blog worth a gander including some nice downloads of mixes, tracks and some nice pictures.

Have a great weekend
